To all of Mrs. Blackwood’s Love ones, especially her children and grandchildren.
There are not any words to heal the pain you are all feeling right now with the passing of one of the most beautiful and caring woman to walk this earth. Please accept my sincere condolences of the passing of your mom and grandmother. I feel blessed that she was part of my life, first as a mother of 3 children I taught back in the day. The mother of some of the older children that my sister, Debbie and I grew up with. Finally, one of my family’s most loyal friends in life, her deceased son, Christopher. Unfortunately, living in Florida, I will not be able to give the family my condolences in person! I wish I could have told her “Thanks for the Memories”, especially at Halloween at the Blackwood house up on Akin Street. The world would be a better place if more people were like Emma Blackwood! May she finally Rest In Peace. See you on the other side my longtime friend!
