Obituary of Marjorie A. Fountain

Marjorie A. Fountain, 75, of Gloversville, died Thursday, January 18, 2024, at her home.

She was born May 26, 1948, in Gloversville, the daughter of late Victor “Shorty” Rulison and Elna “Rosebud” Lobdell.

She was employed at Top Flight in Johnstown for many years where she retired. 

She was an avid puzzle doer and enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed driving her grandchildren crazy.

Marjorie is survived by five children: Terry Frederick (Charmaine), Sue Conine (Brandon), Chauncey Warner (Jennifer), Paul Hayes (Ally) and Brandy Hayes (Clayton); 11 grandchildren: Bethany, Chloe, Calib, Logan, Jr., Destiny, Dom, Jake, Dakota, Sam, Aliyah and Josh; 6 great grandchildren; 6 sisters: Donna Desrochers, Sandy Oathout, Jeanette Bills, Nina Kupciunas, Darlene Gardner and Mary Jane Eagan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her significant other, Clarence Hayes; her parents; brothers, Walter Rulison, Fred Rulison, Jack Rulison and Teddy Wiederman; and a sister, Sally Blower.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 pm Wednesday, January 24^th at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral omesHo Homes, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville.
