Obituary of Peter Krug Sr.

Peter Krug, Sr., 72, of Nelliston, NY passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Albany Medical Center.

He was born in Niskayuna on November 4, 1951, to the late Edward L. "Bud" Krug and Alice Houck Krug.

Peter attended Shenendehowa High School before enlisting in the United States Army, bravely serving his country.

Peter was a farmer by trade and passion. He owned and operated his farm on Maple Town Road where he loved to work outdoors. He was later employed by Target Distribution in Amsterdam before retiring in 2018. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and crafting gifts for family and friends.

He was united in marriage to Alyce Orsini in April of 2004 and together they built a life in the Nelliston area.

Peter is survived by his wife Alyce, children Tricia, Kristie, Connie, Peter Jr., Debbie, Patrick, and Kim as well as siblings Daniel Krug Sr., Donald (Mary) Krug, and Julie Krug. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Allan Krug and sister Nancy Krug Boroski.

A Celebration of Peter's Life will take place in the spring, at a date to be announced.
