Obituary of Brent W. Yerdon Sr.

Lifelong Canajoharie resident, Brent Walter Yerdon Sr. passed away at home on Sunday, January 7^th, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

Brent was born in Amsterdam, NY on January 2^nd, 1963, to the late Walter and Joyce (Herron) Yerdon. He graduated from Canajoharie High School and shortly after began working for Beech-Nut in Canajoharie, where he remained for over 30 years.

Brent was married to the love of his life, Tina (Ropeter) Yerdon, on June 29^th, 1996. They shared over 25 beautiful years together before his passing.

One of Brent’s favorite hobbies was listening to music. More than anything else, he loved to have fun and spend time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Joyce Yerdon; brother Barry Yerdon Sr.; and sister Jinni Blair.

Brent is survived by his wife Tina; sons Brent and Erik Yerdon; daughters Trista (Jesse) Jones and Samantha (Patrick) Ferrara; grandchildren Blake Jones, Wells & Rae Ferrara; brother Brian Yerdon; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to Brent’s Celebration of Life at 1pm on Sunday, January 21^st, 2024, at the Canajoharie Moose Lodge, 159 Erie Blvd, Canajoharie, NY 13317.

A graveside service will be held in the Spring at Fort Plain Cemetery, for family and friends.
