Obituary of Cheryl Abraham

Cheryl Abraham, 67, of Gloversville passed away on December 30, 2023 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born May 15, 1956 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Naif and Evon Abraham.

Cheryl attended the Gloversville school system where she graduated in 1974. She continued her education by attending Beloit College for two years and went on to attend Carnegie melon University for another two years. After college she moved to Birmingham Alabama where she worked and lived until retiring to Gloversville in 2012.

Cheryl was an avid reader; she especially enjoyed Harlequin Romances and was fond of the Hallmark movie channel.

Surviving are two older brothers: Naif II and Eddy, three nephews: Eddy Jr., Adrian, and Naif III as well as her beautiful niece Jen. She is also survived by several great nephews and great nieces.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home Gloversville, 51 Fremont St Gloversville, NY 12078 with Reverend William R. Andrist officiating . Family will receive visitors from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Sunday, January 7, at the funeral home prior to the service. Cheryl will be laid to rest at Prospect Hill Cemetery on Monday.
