Obituary of Joanne M. Iannotti

Joanne M. Iannotti, 83, of Amsterdam, NY, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 13^th, 2023, after a long illness.

She was born on May 9^th, 1940, in Amsterdam to the late Benjamin A. and Stella (Raulen) Krolikowski. She attended local schools and graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School. Joanne worked for several different companies in her lifetime, including the former Naval Depot in Scotia, NY and the Thruway Authority. She was most known for working at her late husband’s family business, Mohawk Dairy on Forest Ave. Once retired, she took on the role of being a homemaker.

Joanne was a homebody at heart, and she enjoyed playing scrabble and crosswords in her free time. More than anything, she loved botany and cared for many plants in her home. She was also a parishioner at St Stanislaus Church in Amsterdam, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents Benjamin A. and Stella Krolikowski; her first husband Frank Rzeszotarski; and her second husband Louis Iannotti.

She is survived by her brother Benjamin S. Raulen; her cousin Stanley Krolikowski; her best friend of 50 years Kathleen Krolikowski; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10am to 11am on Tuesday, December 19^th, 2023, at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. A service of remembrance will be held at 11am with The Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis E.V. as celebrant. Immediately following the service, Joanne will be laid to rest next to her husband Frank Rzeszotarski.
