Obituary of Donald G. Scott

Donald G. Scott, age 78, of Gloversville, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Mountain Valley Hospice House, Gloversville, following a long illness.
He was born January 18, 1945, in Gloversville, the son of Roger and Ester (Ferguson) Scott. He served in the NY Army National Guard and was later employed at Perham Farms, as truck driver Fairbanks Foods, at Glen Mohawk Dairy and retired in 2015 from Walmart Transportation. He loved his dogs and being outside on his tractor and lawn mower, as well as visiting with his friends and family.
Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marlene A. (Madia) Scott; three children, Marie Scott White) Richard), Michael Scott (Colleen) and David Scott (Kateri); a brother, Kenneth Scott (June); as well as eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Audrey Scott and Linda Flint Scott.
Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family at Clarksville Cemetery, Edinburg.
