Obituary of Robert R. Dulysz
Robert, who was mostly known by Bob, Bobby, Bobby Flowers and especially Papa, passed away on Monday December 4, 2023.
Born on August 10, 1973, he was a graduate of Amsterdam High School. For the last 16 years he managed as well as designed beautiful floral arrangements at White Cottage Gardens in Amsterdam. Bob had an incredible talent and truly enjoyed his work.
Presently he was chairman of the board at the Horace J. Inman Senior Center as well as a member of Amsterdam Rotary Club, both of which he enjoyed their many events and met a lot of his friends.
We will all miss his cooking, humor, generosity and love. He had a heart of gold and will be remembered for his generous spirit of helping others.
He is survived by his mother Connie; loving wife Kelly; brother, Chris (Samantha); his favorite sister Kara; his stepchildren, Jay (Missy), Neil (Jamie), Zach (Jess), Steve (Sophia), Rochelle (Brian), Rachel (Corey); and several grandchildren. His niece, Ivy Dulysz; godmother, Sharon Agresta; godchildren Aislynn & Quinlan McMahon; special friends, Frank & Peggy Szyjkowski, Mike Sampone & Shane Hoefs; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, members of the Gugliemelli family, countless friends and many customers.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ray & Dolly Agresta and Jaroslaw & Eugenia Dulysz; his godfather & uncle Gene Agresta; as well as other uncles, aunts and cousins.
At the family’s request, services are private and have been entrusted to his neighbors and friends at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, Amsterdam.
