Obituary of Charlotte D. Hart

Mrs. Charlotte D. Hart, age 90, of Mayfield, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at St. Johnsville Rehab & Nursing Home, St Johnsville.
She was born July 20, 1933, in Gloversville, the daughter of Vrooman and Mabel (Herjen) Dopp. She was employed at Rauch's Bakery for many years and retired from Nathan Littauer Hospital. She was an active member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Charlotte enjoyed sharing bible truths, not only locally, but in other states where the need was great. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had an active interest in traveling to dog shows, working with her crafts, and she had a special talent for baking special occasion cakes.
Charlotte is survived by seven children, Harvey Hart (Sharon), Heidi Zeno (David), Scott Hart, Henry Hart (Lisa), Sean Hart (Marguerite), Abigail Gisondi (Michael) and Amy Mogensen (Matthew); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of over 70 years, Sydney H. Hart; a son, Daniel P. Hart; a daughter, Adrienne Hart; two sisters, Barbara Dopp and Adrienne Hall; and two brothers, John Dopp and Vrooman Dopp Jr. 
The family wishes to thank the St. Johnsville Nursing and Rehab Center for their wonderful care and support. 
All are welcome to join a memorial talk for Charlotte Hart on Saturday, December 9th at 1 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 126 S. Kingsboro Ave; Gloversville.
A private interment will take place in the spring at Unions Mills Cemetery, Broadalbin.
