Obituary of Catherine A. Cirillo

Catherine A. Cirillo, 91, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023 at the Capstone Center for Rehab & Nursing. Catherine was born on October 13, 1932 to the late Benjamin and Carmella Nardo. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Amsterdam High School.   

On June 23, 1957 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Thomas N. Cirillo of Gloversville, New York, with whom she has shared the past 66 years. 

In her youth, Catherine worked for Mohawk Theater at the concession stand. Afterwards, she went on to work  for Goldmere Wholesale. She retired to raise her family. She was a loving wife and mother.

Her loving family includes her husband, Thomas N. Cirillo; her son, Anthony T. (Jeanine) Cirillo of Raleigh, North Carolina, his daughters, Lindsey, Shea, and Jenna of Raleigh, North Carolina; as well as her son, Ralph Cirillo.
     
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11 o'clock in the morning at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Cemetery, Amsterdam, New York where she will be laid to rest.
