Obituary of Carl E. Blowers

Carl E. Blowers, 63, of the Town of Hope, died November 8, 2023, at his home with his companion at his side. 

He was born September 20, 1960, in Gloversville, the son of Robert and Rachel (Warner) Blowers. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Adirondack Natural Resources in Northville for many years until his recent retirement due to illness. He enjoyed hunting and logging.  

Carl is survived by his companion of 35 years, Sheila Ostrander; two children, Raymond Blowers (Brittany) and Stacie Porter; his father, Robert Blowers; two brothers, George Blowers (Donna) and Fred Blowers (Beth); many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to NYOH, Amsterdam.
