Obituary of Dennis Paquin

Dennis Paquin, 73, of Schenectady, NY, formerly of Amsterdam and Ft. Johnson, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 24,2023 at his home.

He was born in Amsterdam, NY on February 2, 1950, a son of the late Marcel and Orilla Gage Paquin.

Dennis was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam Class of 1968.

He was an avid athlete and enjoyed playing golf, bowling, pool and played softball well into his 30’ss. He was also an avid Fisherman and Sports fan.

Dennis was employed for many years at the General Electric Company in Schenectady, NY and retired from there. He also worked for a time a the Home Depot in Schenectady.

Dennis is survived by his son, David D. (Ester) Paquin of Sweetwater TX.   A cherished granddaughter, Marissa Paquin.  A Sister, Patricia Paquin Kelly of Amsterdam.  Nephews, Christoper (Jen) Kelly of Ft. Johnson, NY and Patrick Boccio of Amsterdam. Great-nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A private burial will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, NY. Please make donations to your local Recreation Department or Youth Sports League in his honor.
