Obituary of Richard H. Davis

Mr. Richard H. "Dick" Davis, age 80, of Amsterdam, died at his home on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

He was born April 19, 1943, in Amsterdam, the son of the late Harry and Rachel (Grayson) Davis. He was a 1961 graduate of Willbur H. Lynch High School. He was employed by General Electric Company of Schenectady for 38 years until his retirement in 2003. He enjoyed visiting with his friends daily at the Raindancer. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club.

Dick is survived by two cousins, Deborah Elmendorf of Amsterdam and Dawn Ryan (Walt) of Mayfield.

Private interment will take place at Hagaman Cemetery, Hagaman.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Montgomery County SPCA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, Gloversville.
