Obituary of Jerry Lopez

Jerry Lopez, 60, of Gloversville NY; sadly passed away on October 3, 2023.

Jerry is survived by his six siblings, Sylvia Mauleon, her husband Robert, Richie Lopez, his wife Eleana, Betsy Santana, her husband Robert, Evelyn Negron, her husband Angel, Raymond Santana and wife, (predeceased) Hector Reyes wife Teresa, as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved so much. He also leaves behind his five daughters Vanessa Pettengill (Louis), Natasha Lopez (Josh), Robin Lopez, Kiana Lopez (Jorge) and Cheyanne Lopez. Jerry leaves behind eight grandchildren that he was so proud of and always loved telling people about, Alexis Bown, Taina Tirse, Jaleah Tirse, Jorge Tirse, Connor Pettengill, Arabella Lopez, Elian Hilts, Rayvon Taylor and Jaxon Lopez also his great grandson Eli Lopez.

Jerry was a man who loved spending time with his family making his early morning visits everyone. He was a man who loved the outdoors and could spend all his time hunting, fishing or anything to do with nature. Many may not know he loved listening to classic rock, old westerns, scary movies or kung fu. He loved having a good time, cracking jokes and making people laugh. His infectious laugh and smile will be missed by all who loved him.

There will be a celebration of life on Friday October 13th at the Gloversville Moose Club located at 140 E. State St. in Gloversville at 4 pm for all Jerry’s family and friends. We would love to see all those who loved him as much as we do.
