Obituary of Pamela Jean Satterlee
Fonda- Pamela Jean Satterlee, 61, passed away at home on October 1, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pam was a lifelong resident of Fonda, New York, and was born at Nathan Littauer Hospital on June 2, 1962, to her parents, Donald and Viola Satterlee.
Pam’s father, Donald and younger brother, David, preceded her in death.
Pam is survived by her two devoted daughters, Danielle Carter (Joseph Ellithorpe) and Jessica Wiltey (Wayne Wiltey); as well as her cherished grandsons, Dante Ellithorpe (Jocelyn Dolly), Joseph Ellithorpe Jr. and Ethan Wiltey. She is also survived by her mother, Viola Satterlee; her two sisters, Patricia St. Andrews and Dawn Bant; several nieces and nephews.
Pam was a woman of deep faith and was a long-time member of the Kingdom Hall. She dedicated herself to her beliefs and was an inspiration to those around her. Beyond her spiritual devotion, Pam had a passion for helping people, a profound love for nature and a talent for crafting Adirondack Furniture and home décor. Throughout her life, Pam touched the lives of countless individuals with her kindness, generosity and fun personality.
A celebration of Pam’s remarkable life will be held at a later date. At this time, there will be no formal services.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to all who loved and supported our mother.
Pamela Jean (mom) will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those she touched.
