Obituary of Linda M. Aldi

Lifelong Amsterdam resident, Linda M. Aldi, 76, passed away September 28^th, 2023, at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing with her loving family by her side.

Linda was born on August 10^th, 1947, in Amsterdam, NY to the late Andy and Rosemund (Litchfield) Aldi. She attended Wilbur H. Lynch High School before becoming a Nursing Assistant and devoting her life to caring for others. Most recently she was a caregiver at the previous Montgomery County Infirmary.

Linda enjoyed going shopping, doing puzzles, and coloring to pass the time. She attended many different churches, but always practiced her Christian faith and read her bible every day. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her parents Andy and Rosemund Aldi; son Aaron Aldi; brother Andy Aldi; sister Donna (Forinash) Aldi; and nephew Tommy Ryder.

Linda is survived by her son Manuel (Nichole) Santiago; grandchildren Ashley (Daniel) Gonzales, Gabriella (Brandon) Lapi, and Jonathan (Taylor Lee) Santiago; great-grandchildren Gianna Gonzales and Vincent & Antonio Lapi; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
