Obituary of Glenn Snyder

Glenn Snyder of Tribes Hill, NY born January 26, 1963 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, August 8, 2023 following a long illness. 

He is survived by his wife, Ann Sandford Snyder, his three children: Megan (Jason “J”) Macleod of Amsterdam, Nathanael Snyder of Amsterdam, and Cory Snyder of Delanson, his four grandchildren Meadow Faith, Michael McVeigh Jr., Jason Jr. and Lillian Macleod. He is also survived by his beloved sister Linda Snyder of Schenectady and brother Mark (Mary Beth) Snyder of Scotia; his brothers-in-law James (Marcia) of Gloversville, Thomas (Darla) of Fort Plain, and Joseph (Laura “Caro”) Sandford of Eagle Pass, TX as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Anna Mae Snyder, his mother-in-law Candace Sandford, his sister Carol Snyder Buddles, and his best friend David Bedell.

Glenn graduated from Fonda-Fultonville High School in 1981. He was a licensed Master Plumber and sat on the City of Amsterdam Plumbing Board for 20 years. He loved the people he supported while he worked at Liberty for 13 years. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 1:00pm at the pavilion of Loopie’s on Mohawk Drive in Tribes Hill, NY.
