Obituary of June M. Siegenthaler

June M. Siegenthaler, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at her home in Maryland surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 25, 1947, in Amsterdam to the late John and June (Conley) Male. June graduated from Perth Central School. June worked as a secretary for 24 years at St. Cecilia’s in Fonda. Most of all, June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many; she will be truly missed by all who knew her.

June is survived by her loving family, husband Thomas Siegenthaler, whom she married on August 11, 1990; her children, Peter McNamara (Allyson Ferri), Amy Bell (Stephen), Ryan McNamara (Merri), Mark Siegenthaler (Amy) and Mike Siegenthaler; grandchildren, Daniel McNamara (Erin Joyce), Morgan McNamara (Kelvyn Vasquez), Joshua Bell, Jack Bell, Brianna Siegenthaler, Austin Coon, Caleb McNamara and Cole McNamara; great grandchildren, Olivia McNamara, Kaynen Vazques, Kenneth Vazquez and Ronan McNamara; sisters, Donna McNamara (Dan Murphy), Kathy McMartin (James) and Tammy Dwyer (JR Glover); brothers, Jack Male (Marcelle), Ronald Male (Kelley); sister in law, Allison Male; nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her brother, Richard Male and Timothy Male.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 9am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 207 Glebe St. Johnstown, with Fr. Matt Wetsel as celebrant. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill.
