Obituary of Ruth A. Triumpho

Mrs. Ruth Triumpho, 71, passed away at St Mary’s Hospital with her loving family by her side.  

She was born February 25, 1952 to the late Oscar and Hattie VanValkenburg Hogan of Fort Plain where Ruth was a lifetime resident.  

Ruth met Tim in 1989 and they united in marriage on Dece 23, 1990. They spent 32 wonderful years together.  

Ruth worked at Felt Shoe Knitting Factory and then worked the farm for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and canning.  She also loved birds, collecting elephants, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed every moment with each of them as well as caring for her husband Tim who she loved very much. Ruth will always be remembered for her compassion for everyone, her door was always open for anyone who needed a place to stay.  

Ruth is survived by her husband Timothy Triumpho, her sons: Chet (Sandra) Dillenbeck Jr., and George and, David Dillenbeck, her stepdaughters:  Jeane (Pat) Rush, Angelina (Jared) Ball and Antonia Triumpho. Her siblings include Elsie Buccalo, Doris Handy, Donna Hogan, Richard (Cecilia) Hogan and Charles (Darlene) Hogan. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Marie (Cory Stone) Dillenbeck, Samantha (Kevin Oram) Dillenbeck, Tanner Nichols, Amber Dillenbeck, Trudy (Josh Robbs) Dillenbeck, Russell Dillenbeck Jr., Jakob Dillenbeck, Shiann Dillenbeck, Robert Dillenbeck, Cyrus Dillenbeck, Tagen Rush, and Joseph O’Brien. Her great grandchildren: Vincent Stone, Hunter Dillenbeck, Emma Oram, Jade Dillnbeck and, Everleigh Dillenbeck. Four special nephews and a niece who she raised as her own: Norman Hogan, James and Derek Tompkins, Alan Crouse and Valeen Moshier. A special friend who she thought of as a son Johnny Bouck as well as many special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and her good friend Pastor Gail Adamoschek.  

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Oscar and Hattie Hogan, her son Russell Dillenbeck Sr., a daughter Maria Dillenbeck, brother George Hogan, sisters Harriet Crews and Diane Hogan as well as her mother and father-in-law Jeane and Tony Triumpho. 

In keeping with Ruth’s wishes there will be no public services at this time.
