Obituary of Lillian L. Walsh

Lillian L. Walsh, 90, of Amsterdam, NY, passed away July 19^th, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in the Bronx, Lillian loved reminiscing about her days as a hostess at Stouffer’s Restaurant. Before moving to the area to be closer to her family, Lillian worked as a school aid at Public School 83 and retired from the New York City School District in 1999.

Lillian was the youngest of ten children born to Joseph Rossler and Ethel Heiner on November 12^th, 1932.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband John (1975), her parents, six sisters, three brothers, and one granddaughter.

She is survived by her four children, Carol Buchner, Kathleen (Stanley) Gasiorowski, Robert Walsh, and Donna (Timothy) Adair. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Troy Holliday, Travis Holliday, Michael Reedy, Ashley (Jordan) Cardenas, Hope Adair, Lauren Adair, and John Walsh, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Lillian will be lovingly remembered by those who knew her for her keen sense of humor and infectious laughter.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on August 13^th, 2023, from 1:00pm-3:30pm, with a service of remembrance to immediately follow at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
