Obituary of Christina Skotarczak

Christina Skotarczak, 73, of Fort Johnson, NY passed away on Thursday July 13^th, 2023 at River Ridge Living Center.

Christina was born on June 12^th, 1950 to the late William and Jane (Jastrzebska) Wendt in Augsburg, Germany. She immigrated to the United States at a young age and resided in Amsterdam, NY, where she graduated from the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. After graduation, she took classes to become a certified beautician. During this time, she also volunteered her time and efforts to the American Red Cross. She was then employed as a sales representative for Amsterdam Printing, where she remained for over 20 years.

Christina loved to spend her time reading and watching television, especially her favorite game shows.

She was predeceased by her parents William and Jane Wendt, as well as her nephews Gary and Danny Maines.

She is survived by her sons Michael W. (Sabrina) Skotarczak and Jason (Tami Leggiero) Skotarczak; grandaughter Hannah Skotarczak; sister Helena Maines; and her ex-husband Michael F. Skotarczak.

In keeping with Christina’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
