Obituary of Richard Tyler

Richard Tyler, 60, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Albany Medical Center.

Born on December 16, 1962, in Herkimer, a son of the late Roy and Joyce (Champion) Tyler. For over 20 years Rich worked for Kasson & Keller, previously he had worked for Grossmans in Johnstown.

Rich was known for his love of Nascar, the Raiders and spending time around bonfires with friends and family; but most times, you could find him sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. Most of all, Rich was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.

Survived by his children, Tyson Tyler, Brandon Tyler (Cassie) and Kalli White (Eric); brothers, Dennis Tyler and Roy Tyler (Pam); sister, Brenda Brown; grandchildren, Karla, Marshall, Blake and Cordelia; extended family, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Rich will be held at a later date to be announced.
