Obituary of Dorothy Marie Esposito

Dorothy Marie "Dottie" Esposito, age 91, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Wells Nursing Home, Johnstown.

She was born November 3, 1931 in Northville, the daughter of Benjamin and Catherine (Johnson) King. She was educated in Northville schools and was a homemaker for most of her life. She worked at Coleco Industries in Gloversville and at Amsterdam Printing and Litho. She loved to read her bible from front to back and attending church.  She loved spending time with her family. 

Dorothy is survived by six children, Monte Esposito, Sharon Morse, Curtis Ostrander (Char), Shirley Intelisano (Frank), Mark Ostrander and Jo Ann Dorman (Joseph); 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Chipi (Al) and Naomi Bushen; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Esposito; a son, Eric Esposito; siblings, Addie Ruberti, Charles Wilson and Emma Fletcher.

A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
