Obituary of Eileen C. Reynolds

Mrs. Eileen C. Reynolds, 72, of Amsterdam, NY passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 11, 2023.  Born in Warsaw, NY on November 14, 1950 she was the daughter of the late William and “Ann” Ilnicki Ahnert.

Eileen grew up in Amsterdam and was a 1968 graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School.  She also attended Colona Beauty School.  Eileen was employed as a legal secretary for Wollman & Wollman Law Firm for 27 years until her retirement.

On October 4, 1975 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Joseph L. Reynolds. Together for 48 years, they did everything together.  Their union was blessed with a daughter, Malinda, who was Eileen’s best friend.

Eileen will be remembered for her positive outlook on life.  She lived each day to the fullest and never had any regrets.  Her greatest joys where being surrounded by family, friends, planting her herb, flowers and Shishito pepper garden, smiling, and enjoying a Manhattan. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband Joe; daughter, Malinda; two sisters, Margaret Smith and Bonnie Frascatore; extended members of the Reynolds family; nieces, nephews, cousins; and many dear friends.
