Obituary of Gina Marie Roby

Gina Marie Roby, 52, of Amsterdam, NY passed away on May 21^st, 2023, at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

She was born on June 11^th, 1970, in Amsterdam, NY to Jacqueline Roby. She grew up in the Amsterdam area and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Schenectady, NY. Throughout her life, she worked in many different local factories.

Gina enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. More than anything, she was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her uncle Larry Roby and aunt Linda Morrell.

She is survived by her mother Jacqueline Roby; sons Preston Kornegay, Tygee and Nygee Roby; daughter Mareesa Darby; granddaughter Nyasia Jackson; Uncle Carl Roby; and many cousins.

Following the family’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
