Obituary of Nancy Krug Boroski, R.N.
Mrs. Nancy Krug Boroski, R.N. 67, of Canajoharie, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY.
She was born on February 9, 1956, to Mr. Edward L. "Bud" Krug and Alice Houck Krug of Clifton Park.
Nancy attended Shenendehowa High School where she graduated from in 1974 before enrolling in Nursing School at Albany Memorial. She became a Registered Nurse in 1977 and that year was united in marriage to Mr. James Boroski on September 3rd. Nancy was employed by Montgomery Meadows in Amsterdam for over 25 years, and most recently worked as an R.N. for Community Hospice in Gloversville until retiring to become a "Full Time Nana", a position she loved.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed traveling, especially to Pennsylvania, she loved sunflowers, Eeyore, and crocheting. More than anything Nancy adored her family and spent as much time as possible with her beloved grandchildren. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Faith and parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Fort Plain.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 45 years James Boroski, daughters: Betsy Jones, Brenda (William Jr.) Christman, Bonnie (Joseph) Saltsman, and Kimberly (Bryan) Ranaldo, as well as her sons Robert (Rebecca) Boroski and Kenneth Boroski. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Dylan, Daniel, Brooke, Carter, Abraham, Olivia, Abigail, Adelina, Isabelle, and Vincent. Her siblings include Peter (Alyce) Krug, Dan Krug, Donald (Mary) Krug, and Julie Krug. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Alice Krug as well as her brother Allan Krug, and grandson Conner.
Calling Hours are scheduled for Friday, May 26, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Lenz and Betz Funeral Home 69 Otsego St, Canajoharie, NY 13317. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 115 Reid Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339. Interment will take place at St. Peter’s and St. Paul's Cemetery in Canajoharie immediately following services.
