Obituary of Jeffrey Crouse, Sr.

Jeffrey “Jeff” L. Crouse Sr age 62, of Johnstown passed away on Tuesday April 18, 2023 at his home.

He was born on June 8, 1960 in Gloversville son of the late Harold L. Crouse Sr and Betty Jean Razzano Crouse.

Jeffrey attended Johnstown Schools and was employed throughout his life as a leather worker. He was an artistic man in his younger years. He enjoyed painting and drawing, and playing cards. Jeff loved and enjoyed his family. Jeff was always the life of the party. He will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his son Jeffrey L. Crouse Jr wife Vanessa, significant other Kim Staley, sisters Deborah Smimmo, Jan Olmstead and husband Randy, sister-in-law Pamela Crouse, brother Gregory A. Crouse Sr (Lee). Nieces Melissa (James) Quackenbush, Gennessee (Greg) Tomlinson,  Tiffany (Gavin) Smimmo-Dickinson, Tasha (Roman) Yudin,, Kayla, Cassandra (Brian) Freese, Marilou (Justin) Egan. Nephews John (Lacey) Courtney, Daniel Courtney, Christopher Courtney, Pasquale Smimmo, Zachary (Dana) Olmstead, Gregory Crouse Jr, Kreaton (Sarah) Crouse. Several great nieces and nephews, as well as Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert Crouse, Harold “Ruchie” Crouse Sr, nephews Harold L. Crouse III and Randy Olmstead Jr., and his late wife Debbie Bowley.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Gloversville Moose Club at 2pm on Saturday April 29, 2023.
