Obituary of Joseph Martuscello

Joseph Martuscello, 89, of Fonda, New York, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023 at Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Healthcare Facility. Joseph was born on June 28, 1933 to the late Anthony and Anna (Marotta) Martuscello.

Joseph was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean War. After he was discharged, he worked for 38 years as a Sign Foreman for the Montgomery County Department of Public Works, and as a Deputy Sheriff Dispatcher for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.

His loving family includes his wife of 63 years, Frances (Nowotna) Martuscello; his children, Gerald (Laurie) Martuscello and Susan (Stephen Hay) Martuscello; and his four grandchildren, Karen, Kevin, Sarah and Joshua. Joseph was preceded in passing by his brother, Frank Martuscello.

Funeral services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest in St. Cecilia's Cemetery in Fonda. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to your favorite charity.
