Phil and Anna, among the many memories I have of Jerri is this one. After I received my first serious diagnosis, she sent me a note and a teddy bear. I am not a teddy bear person, but I still keep that bear to remind me that there are people like Jerri in this world, truly kind and caring people. She meant a lot to a lot of people.

There are never any words that comfort one in such a loss of a loved one. Some in my family had known Jerri since she was young and so full of life. That spirit in her never left and she shared with the ones she loved the most, Phil and her daughter. Her contributions to the community she lived in for so many years should never be forgotten. My sympathy goes to her family, her sisters, and all the extended family. We all will miss that smiling face.
