Obituary of Faith E. Keller
Mrs. Faith E. Keller, age 95, passed away Saturday March 18, 2023 at her home following
She was born February 27, 1928 in Los Angeles, California. The daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Frederich Alvina Haseman) Husted. She Lived in Los Angeles for two years until her family relocated to Syracuse. She attended Nottingham High School and Blodgett Vocational Business School.
Faith was first employed as a Medical Transcriptionist for Syracuse General Hospital. Later she worked for Union College in Schenectady as the Assistant to the Director of the Schaeffer Library until she retired in 1989. Faith was a member of the Norge Star, Sonner of Norge ( Sons of Norway), Ta-Wa-Si Christian Women's Organization, Women's Guild for Christian Service (Woestina Reformed Church), Boy Scouts of America(Brownie/Girl Scout Leader), she served as Secretary of the Union College Staff Association, served as President of the PTA at Woestina Elementary School and a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
On August 28, 1948 she married John H. Keller who passed away on July 7, 1984. Besides her parents Faith was also predeceased by, Father-in-law, John Henry Keller, Sr. and Mother-in-law Marie Keller and Brother-in-law, David Mowers. Faith is survived by her six grandchildren, Victoria Elaine Fryc (Thomas), Kathleen Anne Natole(Thomas), Gretchen Louise Ludgate (peter), John "Jack" Henry Keller (Joanne), Stehan Clark Keller (Chatmaine) and Kirsten Marie weisheit; nine grandchildren, Shawn Thomas natole(Cristina), Jennifer Lynne Mohring (Michael), John Everett Keller (Kimberly), Justin Daniel Keller, Anna Louisa Weisheit,Wlliam Milesw Ludgate, Jeffrey Martin Kelle4r, Robert Christopher Weisheit and Henry Peter Ludgate; seven great- gandchildren, Maximillian Michael Mohring, Anthony John Natole, Maverick Charles Mohring, John Feruson Keller, Michela Mohring and Riley Keller;a sister, Mary Gail Noren (Graig); sister-in-law, AnnMarie Mowers; several nieces and nephews including, Critina, Kari,Noren, LeeAnn and David Mowers.
The family will receive relatives and friends on from at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam. Funeral Service will on at 11:00AM with the Rev. Kent McHeard officiating.
Interment will take place in the Spring in Woestina Cemetery, Rotterdam Junction, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Union Colloge. 807 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 for the Schaeffer Library or the the Hockey Program.
