Obituary of Claude P. Hinkle

Claude P. Hinkle, age 80, of Mayfield, died Saturday, February 25, 2023 at home.

He was born November 6, 1942 in Gloversville, the son of the late Clarence and Catherine (Daniels) Hinkle. He enjoyed outdoor activities, traveling and woodworking. He was a member of the Hudson Mohawk Pioneer Gas Engine Association.

Claude is survived by his wife of 42 years, Crystal (Marcais) Hinkle; four children, Jay Green (Joe), Tracy Hinkle (Lisa), Steven Hinkle (Crystal) and Gregory Bundy (Stacey); a sister, Mary Szabo (Chris); seven granddaughters and four great-grandsons; as well several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Edward Hinkle.
A Celebration of Life will take place Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Dr. Bonnie Orth officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mayfield Central Presbyterian, Church P.O. Box 432 Mayfield, NY 12117 or to the Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department, 28 N. School Street, Mayfield, NY 12117.
