Obituary of Doris J. Lenna

Doris J. Lenna, 72, of Amsterdam passed away on February 16, 2023 at the Saint Michael’s Medical Center, Newark NJ. Born in Pontiac Michigan on March 29, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Andy Clark, and Mae Ying Chen Yang.

Doris is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Andrew “Andy” W. Lenna of Amsterdam NY whom she married on September 20, 1997. Survived also by her sister Lottie Yang of Flushing NY; her nieces Catherine Yang, and Lucy Yang both of Flushing NY; her nephews William Hoover, and Ed Hoover both of Williamsport PA. Doris is also survived by her two best friends for over 50 years Margaret Schultz of Amsterdam, Lucille Taylor of Fonda, and also by her beloved pets Zoey, JJ, and Bandit.

During her lifetime Doris was a dedicated worker for over 20 years at the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, where she was a Fingerprint Technician. She was a very outgoing person, she loved animals and enjoyed fishing, especially with her husband.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 on Saturday March 4, 2023 from 1pm to 4pm.
