Obituary of Anne Carol Smith

Anne Carol Smith, 65, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2023 at Albany Medical Center. She was born on January 10, 1958 in Sharon, Connecticut to the late John and Clemence (Grenier) Cribley.

On April 22, 1995 she was united in marriage to Timothy Smith of Amsterdam, with whom she has shared the past 27 years.

Anne’s passions in life included animals, traveling, and music. Her favorite travel destinations were those close to the beach, as she loved to spend time in the sun. Anne enjoyed attending concerts, and listening to live music as often as she could regardless of the venue or genre. Throughout her life Anne always loved to have her pets by her side, most recently her two cats, Tye and Nora.

Anne leaves behind her loving family, including her husband, Tim Smith; children, Jason Gardinier, Kelly (Scott) Carney, Austin Smith, and Joshua Smith; as well as her grandchildren, Kayden and Brody Gardinier and Peyton and Brayden Carney.
