Obituary of Tammy Marie Bottisti
Tammy Marie Bottisti, 60, of Tribes Hill, NY passed away on January 26, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Born in Amsterdam, NY on September 22, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Ralph R. Hume and Shirley J. Cleveland Batease.
She is survived by her loving husband, William A. Bottisti of Tribes Hill, NY whom she met in 1994 and married on October 5, 2021; her children Ross Weiderman of Fultonville and Shahna Bottisti of Fonda; brothers George W. Batease of Gloversville, Raymond Batease of Jacksonville, Florida, John Batease II of Amsterdam, and Daniel Batease of Caroga Lake; her sisters Susan Braender of Amsterdam and Fawn Bronson of Broadalbin; grandchildren Elizabeth, Ross Edward Keith, Larissa, and Zander and also by a lifelong friend Meloney VanHorne of Tribes Hill and by many friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving in-laws Marilyn Keenan and Michael McAllister of Tribes Hill, Julie Schmidtmann of Tribes Hill, Nick and Kelly Bottisti of Fort Johnson, and close family friend Ralph Jones of Tribes Hill.
Besides her parents, Tammy was predeceased by her sisters Jennie Lasher, Eleanor Folette, and Elaine Crouse.
During her lifetime Tammy was a school bus driver and more recently a Health Care Worker at Wilkinson Residential Health Care in Amsterdam. She was a past member of the Tribes Hill Volunteer Fire Department. Tammy loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed working in her garden. Tammy liked to help wherever she could and always opened her home to those in need.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday February 4, 2023, from 1pm to 4pm at the Tribes Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 280 Mohawk Drive, Tribes Hill, NY 12177.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Homes, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
