Obituary of Mozelle G. Mosconi

Mozelle G. Mosconi, 96, of Gloversville, NY died peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.  Born on June 10, 1926 Greenville, SC she was the daughter of the late Luvin and Ruth Bullock Ginn.

 

At the age of three, Mozelle moved to Georgia with her family.  In 1942 she graduated from Ila High School.

 

On July 14, 1945 she was united in marriage to S. Peter Mosconi.  In January 1946, the couple returned to Gloversville to raise their family.  The union was blessed with 65 years of marriage until Peter’s passing on January 9, 2010.  She was also predeceased by a son, Paul L. Mosconi.

 

Mozelle was employed as a Return Clerk for St. Thomas Inc. for 33 years until her retirement.

 

She is survived by her son, Steven P. Mosconi and his wife Barbara; two grandchildren, Scott Mosconi and his wife Kenyon, and Amy Saltarelli and her husband Joseph; three great-grandchildren, Logan Mosconi, Adrianna Mosconi and Vincent Saltarelli.

 

A private funeral service will take place at the convenience of the family.  Interment will take place at a later date in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
