Obituary of Dominick Andrew Cozzolino

Dominick A. "Cozz" Cozzolino, age 78, of Fonda, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany.

He was born August 25, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, the son of Dominick and Marion (Carlino) Cozzolino. He served in the US Navy and was later employed by General Electric of Schenectady for 32 years until his retirement. While there he served as shop steward of the steel gang. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping on the St. Lawrence River at Welsley Island. He and his wife, Linda, wintered in St. James City, Florida for many years.

Cozz was of Catholic faith and was a member of the Fulton County DAV, Mohawk VFW, American Legion and the Wounded Warriors.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda L. (Wager) Cozzolino of Fonda; a son, Ronald R. Cozzolino (Patti) of Jacksonville, NC; two grandsons, Derek and Adam Cozzolino of Charlotte, NC; four siblings, Norma Jean, Grace, Robert (Millie) and Sarah; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Andrew and Anthony Cozzolino.

It was Cozz's wish that there be no services. Private interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.
