Obituary of Edward Fisher

     Mr. Edward Fisher, 55, of Amsterdam, passed away on Monday December 12, 2022 at his home with his family at his side.

He was born in Amsterdam on May 29, 1967 a son of  Ralph Fisher and Sharon Sheckton Fisher.   He was a lifelong area resident and attended Amsterdam schools.

Ed was employed for a time at the former Amsterdam Memorial Hospital.   

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Fisher of Amsterdam. Brothers and sister,  John Paul Fisher of Venice ,Florida , Duane A. Fisher of Amsterdam, and Holly Fisher of Venice, Florida.  Also nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was recently  predeceased by his sister,  Michelle Phelps in 2021.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday December 23, 2022 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at The Century Club, 130 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.   Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Homes, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
