Obituary of Carolyn P. Bayes

Carolyn P. Bayes, age 80, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, November 29, 2022 at her son and daughter-in-law's home in Broadalbin.

She was born February 23, 1942 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Clyde and Bertha Kenyon. A loving homemaker, she also worked alongside her husband at his business for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by two children, David Bayes (Pamela) of Broadalbin and Lisa Hewitt (Mark) of Gloversville; five grandchildren, Cassandra Bayes, Tonya Frasier, Kyle Frasier, Thomas McClellan-Willard and William Hewitt; two sisters, Jacquelyn Sena and Donna Frederick; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, William Bayes; siblings Doris Pecorino, Calvin Kenyon, George Kenyon, Clyde Kenyon, Evelyn Brooks, Lucille Richardson, Raymond Kenyon and Robert Kenyon.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 10am to 12noon Saturday, December 3rd at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12noon with the Rev. R.W. Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
