Obituary of Patricia A. Kenyon

Patricia Ann Kenyon, 75, formerly of Johnstown, New York, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2022 at Mountain Valley Hospice, surrounded by her family. Patricia was born on April 4, 1947 in Amsterdam to the late Milton and Ruth Mae (Meca) Auspelmyer.

On August 20, 1967 she was united in marriage to Howard “Tyke” Kenyon Jr., also of Johnstown. The couple shared 52 wonderful years together, until his passing on July 23, 2020.

Patricia spent the early part of her career working for the General Telephone Company. She was most recently employed by Epimed in Gloversville, where she worked as a Quality Control Specialist for 20 years, until her retirement in 2017.

Her loving family includes her siblings, Bruce (Deborah) Auspelmyer, Nicolette Sitterly, and Ruth Wendy (Tom) McGuigan; her God-daughter, Melissa VanSlyke; her canine companion, Chloe; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited, and may call on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 11:00AM until noon at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, New York, with a funeral service to follow. Interment will be held, following the funeral service in Ferndale Cemetery in Johnstown, where she will be laid to rest with Tyke.
