Obituary of David John Shaffer

Mr David John Shaffer, age 66, of Gloversville, New York, died on October 17th, 2022, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.

 

David was born on September 27th, 1956 in Cooperstown, New York, the son of Ellis & Bertha Shaffer. David enjoyed cooking, sports and spending time with his family.

 

David is survived by his other half: Sharon, his partner of 40yrs; his children: Jeff, Joni, Joy (Johnny), Jonnie (Billy),

and Joey (Jason). He had 10 grandkids & 6 great grandkids who loved him very much. He is also survived by a brother Ellis (Cindy) and many nieces and nephews.

 

David was predeceased by his parents and his brothers: Gilbert, Paul, and Harry, and his sisters Nellie and Evelyn.
