Obituary of Grace M. Morrison

Grace M. Morrison, age 93, of Gloversville, died Monday, October 10, 2022 at Nathan Littauer Nursing Home, Gloversville.

She was born November 17, 1928 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy (Walker) McGuire. She was first employed by Winig Slipper Co. and later by St. Thomas Inc. for many years until it closed. She enjoyed crocheting, soap operas, country music and visiting wither her neighbors.

Grace is survived by a son, Arthur F. Morrison Jr. (Susan), two granddaughters, Stephanie Barrett (Gordon) and Melissa Mehan (Johnpaul); a great granddaughter, Sophia Mehan;  a brother, Frank  McGuire; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Arthur F. Morrison Sr; her siblings Howard McGuire, Harold McGuire, Betty St. Louis and June Harrington.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 11am to 1pm Monday, October 17 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 1pm with the Rev. Cynthia VanAllen officiating.

Interment will follow at Mayfield Cemetery, Mayfield.
