Obituary of Robert S. Tracki

     Mr. Robert S. Tracki, 74, of Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 8, 2022 at his home. 

     He was born in Amsterdam on March 9, 1948 a son of the late Stanley and Victoria Gadomski Tracki.  He was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and attended the former St. Stanislaus School, Theodore Roosevelt  Jr. High and Wilbur H. Lynch High School  in Amsterdam.

     Bob first worked for Electro Metrics, then Consolidated Diesel and then Firestone Tire and Rubber in Schenectady.   He was the Co- Owner and Operator of Reliable Auto Parts here in Amsterdam for over 35 years.  Bob enjoyed tinkering in the garage and helping his friend’s.  He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast.

     He married his “High School Sweetheart”  Coni Malon Tracki on March 12, 1967.  In addition to his loving wife he is survived by his children, son, Robert E. (Kristy Southwick) of Northville, NY.  A daughter, Lisa (Milton) Turley of Las Vegas, Nevada.  Two sisters, Joan (John) Beardsley and Cathi (Ed) Willette.  Cherished grandchildren, Cindy Robertson, Brooke Tracki, Delana, Dawson and Dorian Tracki.  Four great-grandchildren.  Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  He was predeceased by his sister and brother- in- law, Dorothy and Jim VanDeWalker.

     A Service of Remembrance  will be held on Monday October 17, 2022 at 7:00PM at the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral  Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY with the Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis E.V. presiding.  Interment will be private in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Hagaman, NY.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday October 17, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.  Please leave condolences online at www.brbsfuneral.com
