Obituary of Christopher Brandon
Christopher Brandon R.N., 56, of Tribes Hill, New York passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 15, 2022 at St Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam.
He was born in Troy on October 28, 1965 to Mr. Robert Patrick Brandon and Mrs. June Emery Brandon.
Chris attended local schools graduating from Schuylerville Central School in 1984. He worked many years as an RCIS in cardiac catheterization labs. In 2018 he began the nursing program at Fulton Montgomery Community College where he met the love of his life, Tracy Salerno. They graduated together in 2020, becoming registered nurses. He was most recently employed by St Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Chris and Tracy were united in marriage on October 30, 2021 in Barbados.
Chris enjoyed traveling, fishing, boating, cooking, and spending time at camp with his family who he adored. He will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, intelligence, kindness, and wonderful smile.
Chris is survived by his wife Tracy Brandon, son Nicholas Brandon, daughters; Melissa (Tony Palleschi) Brandon, Kayla (Coulton Sullivan) Brandon, Ashleigh (Joshua) Goodwin, and stepsons; Shawn and Brandon Monge. His siblings include; Robert E. (Michelle Barnard) Brandon, Mellanie (Thomas) Schroeder, and Heather (David) Ralph. He also leaves behind his grandchildren; Kennedy Goodwin and Oliver Sullivan, nieces and nephews; Patrick and Maxwell Schroeder, Lauren, Samantha, and Kirsten Ralph as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 2:00PM at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Calling hours will take place on Sunday, August 21 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM prior to the service.
