Obituary of Janice A. Jordan

      Mrs. Janice A. Jordan, 83, of Broadalbin, NY, passed away on Sunday July 10, 2022 at the E.L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam.

       Born on September 27, 1938 in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Ellis and Dorothy Miller Seeley.  She was a lifelong area resident and was a 1956 Graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam.

     Janice was the Office Manager for her family's business: Quality Painter's and Decorator’s in Amsterdam.  She enjoyed her I-Pad and shopping on Amazon, knitting, sewing and visiting casinos.  She was also an avid NY Mets and NY Giants fan.  Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

     She was a member of the Northampton Methodist Church, Old Fish House Rd in Broadalbin and was a member of the St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary. 

    Janice married James E. Jordan on October 14, 1956.  In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by her loving children, Sheryl (Mike) Kayes of Broadalbin, Jeffrey (Maggie) Jordan of Ft. Johnson, NY,  Kurt (Debbie) Jordan of Broadalbin, Jamie (Lane) Winney of Broadalbin, Kylene (Mark) Morreale of Broadalbin, and Jennifer Jordan of Amsterdam.  One brother, Robert (Diana) Seeley of Broadalbin.  Cherished grandchildren,  Ashley, Christopher, Nicole, Kyle, Jessica, Joshua, Emily, EllaClaire, Kalei, Erik, Kelsi, Danielle, Jackson, Megan, Zachary, Adrienne and Lukas.  Three great-grandchildren, Jamison, Kaisen and Natalie.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.   Janice was predeceased by her loving daughter, Kim Jordan who passed away on May 1,2021.

     Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will  be in Northampton Cemetery, Old Fish House Rd.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Northampton United Methodist Church, 1604 County Highway 110, P.O.
