Although my words, late as they are, will never take away the pain and grief you probably felt and still feel after losing your beloved family member, Dick - please know that even in the distant way I came to know of him, and in a way, know him - he helped me in my life in many ways. He really was an incredible individual, a top scientist, a brilliant thinker, author, and teacher - and in the course of just a couple of interviews that I was so lucky to find, he comported himself so well that he truly set a fine example of a modern man. Dick will be sorely missed, but please accept my deepest sympathy - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With his interests and work, he truly made the world a better place and I will always remember him.
