Obituary of Phyllis C. Bullock

Phyllis C. Bullock, 92, of Sprakers passed away July 3, 2022 at in Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville. She was born on March 4, 1930 in Canajoharie, New York to Charles Christiance and Elaine MacCormac Christiance. 

She attended local schools graduating from Canajoharie High School with the class of 1947 before attending SUNY Cortland. Phyllis was united in marriage to Charles Bullock on May 20, 1949. They remained lovingly married until his passing on May 4, 1989. During their marriage Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She also dedicated her time to volunteering at the Rural Grove Fire Company and its Auxiliary as well as the Christian Church of Rural Grove where she was a devoted parishioner. 

Phyllis is survived by her son Michael C. (Darlene) Bullock of Fultonville, daughters; Alice (Jeffrey) Unger of TN, and Jane Bullock of Little Falls. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Brittany (Jonah DeShane) Bullock, Jenny (Damian) Cornelius, as well as three great-grandchildren; Rubin Cornelius, John Reisinger, and Lilly Reisinger, and several cousins. 

Phyllis's family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville for the wonderful care and compassion they provided Phyllis in her final month. 

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:00AM at Canajoharie Falls Cemetery with the Reverend Doctor Robert Walter officiating. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 108 Steele Ave., Gloversville, New York 12078 in Phyllis's name.
