Obituary of Virginia Langton

Mrs. Virginia Langton, 80, of Grove Street, Amsterdam, NY died peacefully on Saturday, June 18^th, 2022 surrounded by her family.  Born on January 28, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Julius and Mary Gutierez Anglada.

Virginia grew up in New York City, and moved to Amsterdam in 1970.  Later that year, on December 26^th, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Trevor A. Langton.  A union that was blessed with 52 years of love and understanding.  Virginia was employed by several local companies including, St. Mary’s Healthcare, Coleco and Liberty until her retirement.

Family was the most important thing to Virginia.  Her home was always the center for holidays, celebrations and special gatherings. She touched many lives, and always had a giving heart.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her step- daughter, Julie Hanson; and her siblings, David, Julito and Helen.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Trevor; three children, Rodney Langton, Eva Langton, Trevor (Jessica) Langton III; two step-children, Darryl Langton, Paul Langton; her three sisters, Rosario Anglada, Elizabeth Vasquez and her twin, Rosie Schultz; six grandchildren, Matthew Aldi, Azia Aldi, Angelina Dronda, Trevor Langton III, Michael Langton, Khloe Langton; many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A gathering for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 4 until 7p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.  Everyone is invited to attend.
