Obituary of Ada Elsa Llorens Colon

Our precious mother, Ada Elsa Llorens Colon, passed away on Thursday, June 16 of 2022. She was born on February 4, 1951, in Caguas, Puerto Rico to her parents Luis Llorens and Berta Colon. She was the 3rd of five siblings, who she leaves behind; Iris, Cesa, Doris, Luis. She was the mother of four children; Clarigsa, Jose Luis, Ada Isabel and Ana Isabel and the grandmother of Andrea Isabel, Kristian Gabriel, Gabriel Andrés, Ian Andres, Laurelys Zoe, Ivanna Angelys and Valentina Isabel.

Our mother was an amazing woman, the kindest and most loving in this world. Her love was always genuine and unconditional for everyone who crossed her path. She dedicated her entire life to her family and to making sure we all had the support we needed and made sure we always felt loved. She sacrificed much more than we can imagine, always putting the needs of others before her own. All those who were lucky enough to meet her will remember her for her warmth, kindness and the joy that she gave us throughout her life. She will be immensely missed.

Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 8:00AM until 10:00AM in the Chapel of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, NY. Mass will follow at 11:00AM at the Historic St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 156 East Main St., Amsterdam NY, with the The Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis V.F. as celebrant. Burial services will be held privately, at a later date.

Nuestra preciosa madre, Ada Elsa Llorens Colon, falleció el jueves 16 de junio de 2022. Nació el 4 de febrero de 1951 en Caguas, Puerto Rico de sus padres Luis Llorens y Berta Colon. Era la tercera de cinco hermanos, a quienes deja atrás; Iris, Cesa, Doris, Luis. Era madre de cuatro hijos; Clarigsa, José Luis, Ada Isabel y Ana Isabel y la abuela de Andrea Isabel, Kristian Gabriel, Gabriel Andrés, Ian Andres, Laurelys Zoe, Ivanna Angelys y Valentina Isabel.

Nuestra madre era una mujer increíble, la más amable y amorosa de este mundo. Su amor siempre fue genuino e incondicional para todos los que se cruzaron en su camino. Dedicó toda su vida a su familia y a asegurarse de que todos tuviéramos el apoyo que necesitábamos y se aseguró de que siempre nos sintiéramos amados. Ella sacrificó mucho más de lo que podemos imaginar, siempre anteponiendo las necesidades de los demás a las suyas. Todos los que tuvimos la suerte de conocerla la recordaremos por su calidez, amabilidad y la alegría que nos brindó a lo largo de su vida. Ella será inmensamente extrañada.

Los familiares y amigos están invitados y pueden visitarnos el martes 21 de junio de 2022 de 8:00 a. m. a 10:00 a. m. en la capilla de la funeraria Betz, Rossi & Bellinger, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, NY. La Misa seguirá a las 11:00 AM en la Iglesia Católica Romana Histórica de Santa María, 156 East Main St., Amsterdam NY, con el Muy Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis V.F. como celebrante. Los servicios de entierro se llevarán a cabo en privado, en una fecha posterior.
