Obituary of Mitchell Brown
Mr. Mitchell Richard "Mitch" Brown, age 63, of Gloversville, New York, died on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at his home with his loved ones at his side.
He was born on May 7, 1959 in Fairfield, California, the son of Waterman F. and Eugenia D. (Loveland) Brown. He graduated from the Gloversville High School, and chose to further his education, earning several certifications along the way. He was later employed as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager by Exyte Americas, of Plano, Texas, and he devoted over 30 years to the field. He met Brenda Lee Dillenbeck, and after several years together, they were married on September 2, 2017.
Mitch LOVED music and could tell you the musician, band members, album name, anything you wanted about a song. He was renowned for his gardening (especially his hot pepper crop!), and enjoyed going for rides and having new adventures with his wife Brenda. together they enjoyed their home, backyard parties, street festivals, and just spending time together as partners and friends. He was also an avid sports fan, and rooted for the LA Lakers, the LA Rams, and the Baltimore Orioles. Mitch loved taking care of his community, and made it a point to always make sure that his neighbors were cared for. He took care of their grounds, regardless of season. Whether it was snow blowing, mowing, raking, or other labor, Mitch was always willing to step up to the plate to make sure friends, neighbors, and loved ones had what they needed. In addition to the people in his life, Mitch also loved animals, and enjoyed rescuing and re-homing many feral cats over the years.
Mitchell is survived by his wife: Brenda Lee Brown; his children: Brandon Brown, Tori Brown, and Heather Souza; his granddaughter: Rylee Baird; his brothers: Farnum Brown, and Todd Brown; and his In-Laws: John and Fay Flanders.
He was predeceased by his parents: Waterman and Eugenia Brown.
The Brown family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, Friday, June 24, 2022 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY followed at 12:00 Noon by a Memorial Service.
Interment will take place following the Memorial Service at Prospect Hill Cemetery, South Kingsboro Avenue, Gloversville, New York.
