Obituary of William Brayton
Mr. William "Bill" F. Brayton, age 92, of St. Johnsville, New York, died on Monday, May 23, 2022 at The Alpine Nursing Home in Little Falls, New York.
He was born on August 28, 1929 in Gloversville, New York, the son of William and Lillian (Bennett) Brayton. He served in the US Army and was later employed as an Expediter by General Electric of Schenectady. He was a member of the Adirondack Baptist Church and was a proud American, able to trace his direct lineage back to the Mayflower.
When Bill wasn't at work, he was active in several bowling leagues throughout the years. He also loved a game of Pool.
William is survived by his children: Linda Elwood, John Borst, Debbie Jackson, Yvonne Baird; his sister: Joan Pettit, and many grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents: William and Lillian Brayton; his wives: Emma Brayton and Dora Betts; his sister: Frances Lewis; and his children: Howard Borst and Wayne Borst.
Services and interment will take place privately, at his family's convenience.
